  8. Implementation of the Oberon V4 operationg system, like it was designed together
  9. with the programing language Oberon among others by Prof. Niklaus Wirth.\n\n
  10. The system represents a modern operating system with multitasking, graphical
  11. user interface and an Oberon-2 compiler. Special features are object oriented
  12. programming concept, dynamic loading, garbage collector, extensibility and a
  13. enlarged meaning of text.\n
  14. A text editor, a drawing tool and a Minesweeper game are included.\n\n
  15. Source code designed with the system can be used at every implementation without
  16. changes. Implementations are available for Mac, Power-Mac,
  17. IBM-RS6000, Windows, SGI, Sun, Linux, DecStation, ....

  19. Umsetzung des Oberon V4 Betriebssystems, wie es zusammen mit der Sprache Oberon
  20. u.a. von Prof. Niklaus Wirth entworfen wurde.\n\n
  21. Das System stellt ein modernes, multitaskingfaehiges Betriebssystem mit
  22. graphischer Benutzeroberflaeche dar und beinhaltet einen in das System
  23. eingebundenen Oberon-2 Compiler. Besondere Eigenschaften sind das
  24. objektorientierte Konzept, dynamisches Laden der Module, Garbage-Collector,
  25. Erweiterbarkeit und die neue Bedeutung, die Text zugeordnet wird.\n
  26. Komfortabler Editor, Zeichenprogramm und ein Minesweeper Spiel sind im
  27. Paket enthalten.\n\n
  28. Mit dem System erstellte Quelltexte koennen auf jeder anderen Umsetzung von
  29. System V4 sofort verwendet werden. Umsetzungen existieren fuer Mac, Power-Mac,
  30. IBM-RS6000, Windows, SGI, Sun, Linux, DecStation, ....
